Essential Info
Get the surge protection that is essential without the hassle and clutter of bulky, unattractive power strips. Most commercial buildings are equipped with transient voltage surge suppressor (TVSS) panels to protect from surges from outside energy sources. However, internal surges occur more often, sometimes occurring every hour. While internal voltage spikes may not be as high, cumulative surges can erode equipment over time, hindering performance and leading to failures for no apparent reason. This TVSS receptacle is designed to replace your existing outlets for point-of-use protection directly from the wall. You'll get the same protection for your computer, audio/visual, and other essential electronics without the unsightly power strips. Once installed, an LED lets you know that grounding and surge protection have been initiated so you can be sure your devices are always safe. If the unit is compromised during a voltage spike and needs to be replaced, you will immediately be alerted with an audible alarm. Front access switch for muting audible alarm until device is replaced
