The boldly dramatic Desert Sand 600-Watt Smart Dimmer will replace an existing light switch to add dimming capabilities to any incandescent light up to 600 watts. This feature-rich dimmer will even let you turn any switch into a virtual multi-way switch: Add up to five remote dimmers (sold separately) to control your light from any location in your home up to 300 feet from the light. A screwless Desert Sand Wall Plate is sold separately.

Attractive, Modern DesignYou'll appreciate the dual tone design of the Desert Sand 600-Watt Smart Dimmer, which highlights a smooth, gloss-finish primary color with textured pearlescent secondary tones for a dramatic look. The dimmer paddle's softly curving arch hugs a dimmer control bar that allows light levels and mood to be adjusted at the touch of a finger. A preset feature returns the light level to its prior setting without readjustment, and you'll easily be able to adjust the preset illumination level, thanks to an LED light-level display.
Technical Performance FeaturesThe 600-Watt Smart Dimmer is compatible with both incandescent and magnetic low-voltage lighting, so you'll be able to add dimming control to almost any light in your home. Advanced features include setting the lights to fade on and off gradually. Please note: Smart dimmers are not compatible with standard 3-way switches and are for use either as a single location dimmer or with a smart remote for multi-way control.
Additional Switch Options AvailableThe Desert Sand 600-Watt Smart Dimmer is also available in Silver Granite and White Satin. If you don't need virtual multi-way control, a 600-watt slide dimmer is available to control any single-pole or hardwired 3-way switch. The ASPIRE Design System comprises a full line of wiring devices to meet every application in every interior. Replace your boring old switches with the aesthetically pleasing Single-Pole Switch, 3-Way Switch or 4-Way Switch. You can also add telephone and coax outlets for your office and media rooms. Also available are Ground Fault Circuit Interrupters for kitchen, bath, or spa areas.
