The receiver can be used as a doorbell, as a doorbell in conjunction with a signal light, or it can operate in silent mode with no sound and just the signal light. RF Communication
The receiver and transmitter communicate via radio frequency (RF) and use one out of 4096 codes, which are changeable, to minimize the chance of interference from other RF devices. It is also recommended to avoid mounting the receiver on or near other electric devices to avoid RF and electrical interference.
