The Wireless Doorbell Chime and Light with Table Stand is an affordable alternative to getting a wired doorbell unit. The transmitter will wirelessly communicate with the receiver up to 100 meters away. Each can be mounted, and optionally the receiver comes with a stand that you can take with you throughout your home; this offers the flexibility to put each unit in the most convenient place for you. The receiver can be used as a doorbell, as a doorbell in conjunction with a signal light, or it can operate in silent mode with no sound and just the signal light. The receiver also has three adjustable volume levels: quiet, medium and loud. This simple solution can be up and running in minutes at your home or apartment; it can even be used on trailers, motor homes, dorm rooms and offices.

    RF Communication
    The receiver and transmitter communicate via radio frequency (RF) and use one out of 4096 codes, which are changeable, to minimize the chance of interference from other RF devices. It is also recommended to avoid mounting the receiver on or near other electric devices to avoid RF and electrical interference.

    Very cheaply made. One of the plastic tabs necessary to click the unit into its bracket broke with the slightest pressure. I would not recommend this product to anyone.

    Very small and simple device. The important thing is that so far it works consistently. The last one I got, of a different brand, stopped working after just a few minutes.

    I am quite pleased with the Chime and find that it is working well. The only complaint relates to the poor quality of screws which were provided for installation. The soft metal heads of the screws stripped. A higher quality screw should be utilized.

    These doorbells work as advertised, but better instructions for how to alternate channels would be appreciated. Also, the blinking LED signal only blinks for about 1 second and is not very bright (LED feature is effectively useless in my judgment). Because of the short duration of the LED signal, these will not work well for the hard of hearing/deaf community. Range is good, and I have not experienced any 'false-alarms' as is common with wireless doorbells.

    I have a ton of RF around here between a couple of cordless phones, wireless networking, blue tooth, cordless keyboard and mouse, and multiple computers around me. Yet this wireless doorbell works like a charm. My only complaint is that it isn't very loud. I'm considering getting a second one and seeing if I can sync the button with two receivers. That way I could have two receivers in two different places in the house and the one button would cause both to ring. But I haven't tried that yet. Other than low volume it is a fine product.

    The chime doesn't ring quite as load as I would prefer. Otherwise, it is a very effective and easy to install solution to any door not having a door bell already installed.

    A very smart concept that answers the perennial problem of a service bell in a large house. There is always an individual need for a singular and versatile solution to a service requirement and this unit is tops for its reliability and for its adaptability, for instance having the light and/or sound option. It also makes obsolete, finally, that barren old technology that launched the always failing "wireless door bell". Thank you for seeking and providing this new technology to us.

    I have hit one snag with this doorbell; It will appearently sound off for no reason. This does become an inconvenience when it chimes at 2:00 A.M.. I think you need to find a frequency, or encryption, where nothing else can set it of but the button which comes with it. regards.

    The bell chimes randomly. It's sounds off at the worst times it seems to, like 2:30 in the morning, or 7am on a weekend. With a rash of home invasions reported in our area lately, this doorbell has compounded those fears, causing the family to be on edge when it sounds when no one is there. Is someone checking to see if the house is vacant so they can break in, or has the doorbell malfunctioned again? I've tried a couple different channels, but no luck, the bell still sounds off randomly. Also, the bell is kinda of quite and not very doorbell-y sounding. It's more computer tone than a traditional chime. If this were the only problem, I could live with it, but the random sounding off is too much.
