This is more than a simple doorbell button. Although it operates wirelessly, it also accepts input from NO or NC contacts, like window/door contacts or other doorbell buttons. The connected device can be a simple switch or in a powered circuit of less than 24 volts AC or DC. When wired to window/door contacts, your door chime will sound an "alert" tone rather than its normal sound. Attractive satin nickel and black finish. Operates up to 18 months on one CR2032 battery (included). Note: if you puncture or remove the grommet in the back of the case for wiring, it is recommended that you seal the opening with caulk or not use the device outdoors.
