Mount these battery-powered doorbells at your front and back doors, and when a visitor presses one, it transmits wirelessly up to 100 feet to the receiver, which is powered by two AA batteries (sold separately). Ideal for use in your workshop, laundry room, garage or patio, the 2-Entry Battery-Operated Wireless Chime allows you to hear the doorbell chime ring out in any room in your home. This dual-transmitter system is even smart enough to let you know which door your visitor is behind: The front-door transmitter triggers a "Westminster" sound, while the back-door transmitter initiates a standard two-tone "ding-dong" chime.

If you'll only need to set up a doorbell at one entry, you can set up the single-transmitter Battery-Operated Wireless Chime. An Additional Wireless Chime Transmitter is also available: Pick up as many as you need for doorbells at each entrance to your home.

I CANNOT recomment this product. Before installing I held the push button on the door trim right where I would install it and pressed the button, it rang, great. I predrill the holes and mount with the screws provided. After I mounting I press the button - nothing? I unmount it press the button, it chimes? I remount it - nothing? I build a little spacer 3/8" out of wood to hold it off the door trim, hold it up against the spacer, press the button, it chimes. Install it with the screws provided on the spacer, press the button - nothing? I read the back of the package: "Working range can vary from 20 to 100 feet depending on your homes''s construction. Vinyl or wood siding are ideal, masonary or metal may decrease the range." The only explanation I can come up with is that the metal screws they provide for mounting it to the house cause enough interference to stop the chime from working. What a design flaw!
