Essential Info
To get X10 control for plug-in appliances with a custom built-in look simply replace your existing receptacles with these. The bottom outlet behaves like a regular non-controlled outlet while the top outlet responds to X10 commands just like a 3-Pin Appliance Module. Responds to ON/OFF and ALL UNITS OFF. Does not respond to ALL LIGHTS ON or DIM/BRIGHT commands. Local manual override is possible. With manual override, when the receptacle is off, turn the attached appliance/light off, then back on; the receptacle senses the OFF and ON cycle and forces the receptacle on - very handy when you're not near an X10 transmitter. Comes with matching Decora style trim plate. For easy addressing, insert an X10 Code Clicker (sold separately) into the dial wheel.
