Essential Info

Expanding your X10 system to include wired-in lights is a snap with these easy-to-use X10 light switches. Simply connect two wires and you’re all set. You’ll be able to control lights directly from the switch as well as remotely. The wall switch will respond to the ALL LIGHTS ON/ALL UNITS OFF command, and you can dim the light from any X10 transmitter with DIM/BRIGHT control. Wall plates sold separately. The X10 wall switch can only be used with incandescent lights. All X10 compatible 2-wire dimmer switches and modules rely on the conduction path through the incandescent bulb filament and will not work properly with other loads.

    When it works, this operates differently than previous switches. I returned all four. One was defective and I couldn't get the other to work with my controllers (old and new).

    Works great. Has built in dimming controll at the switch. Just hold down the wall switch to dimm and release and hold again to brighten.

    This product hasn't changed in at least 20 years. While I love what it does, but the bottom wattage limitation and the fact that it basically only infinitely dims without at some point latching *off* just seems silly at this point.
