If you have a lamp connected to a dimming module for voice control (sold separately), you may have had difficulties in getting it to recognize your voice if the module is behind a couch or under a desk. By connecting the External Microphone for Voice-Controlled Modules, you'll be sure your commands will be heard and obeyed.

The External Microphone for Voice-Controlled Modules can be placed in a location where it can "hear" your voice. Just plug one end into the module. With its 5-foot cord, you'll have ample flexibility in placement. Note: The External Microphone for Voice-Controlled Modules is not compatible with the Voice-Controlled Dimming Module.
