Essential Info

You don't have to stumble through the dark in order to turn a lamp on or flip a switch. Turn a lamp on with the sound of your voice. The Voice-Controlled Lamp Module with Dimmer plugs in to any 120V/60Hz AC outlet and is triggered by your voice commands to turn lights on and off and even dim them to one of three levels.

The Voice-Controlled Lamp Module with Dimmer sets up in seconds. Plug the incandescent lamp to be controlled into the two-prong jack on the module, set the lamp or appliance to the ON position, and then plug the module itself into any standard AC outlet.

Choose one of three brightness levels by voice. Just say the word "Computer" in a firm voice to put the module in the listen mode. Then, depending on which light level you want, simply say "High," "Medium" or "Low". To turn the lights off, repeat the "Computer" command, then say "Off." You also have the option of programming it to understand your own words, in any language.

Want the ability to turn on a fan or other appliance by voice as well? Then choose the Voice-Controlled Lamp/Appliance Module, which turns a load on and off by voice commands.

It works but not quite as advertised. Sometines it cant seem to distinguish high from off. All and all a pretty good product, I guess I am just not used to voice recognition techmology...

Mostly great. It cannot cope with background noise, though. So if the poodles are playing in the living room, it simply won't work. I do love! being able to turn off the lights without leaving the warm confines of my bed. Plan to order a couple more for the rest of the house.

poor product in that reponse depends very muchon pitch of users voice. In our house, adults ewre fine but the unit wouldn't repond to thekids' voices.

Voice controlled lamp module does not work as well as an older make & model I had to replace. Room must be totally quiet for it to work. Otherwise, functions as described, and does respond to commands better than my children. Shipping time was appropriate & on schedule & Packing was good.

I love this lamp controller. I bought it for my brother, who is quadriplegic, and now all who visit want one too. The only downside of this lamp controller, is the lack of responsiveness when there are too many peripheral noises, but that is to be expected from a voice-activated product.
