    These modules are identical to 2-Pin X10 Appliance Modules, but with a 3-pin socket. Use with appliances that have a 3-pin plug (grounded plugs). Each X10 module is given its own address by selecting a letter (house code) and number (unit code) on the 2 dials. Rated for 15 amps, or 1/3 Hp. Available in white.

    I purchased 2 modules and telesponder, one or two years ago, to be used to turn on furnace at my vacation home in the winter in northern wisconsin. Everything worked very well until I checked and found one module would no longer function. I was very happy to be able to purchase another one as I was sure this module would be discontinued. I hope I will have better luck with my new module. All in all, this system is amazing..I tell all my friends how I can call up my and make it turn on.

    it does not work consistantly. I just installed it this weekend and it will work the first few times, then after a while I tried it again and it would not turn on the light. I had to leave and it still wasn't working.

    Items works well and doesn't introduce RFI like lamp module did into radios. Better for CFL's anyway.

    This is the generic X-10 module - the price is right. This appliance module is needed more now because lamp modules should not be used with CFL lamps (dimming not allowed). [2-pin appliance modules used to be available and would be more useful for lamps.]

    These little modules are the cheapest, yet the most reliable of all the X10 devices out there. They are great for controlling Christmas lights remotely. They are easy to use; Just set the code and plug them in.
