Essential Info
Control an indoor light without running wires! Just plug the lamp into this Black & Decker Freewire™ Indoor 300w Lamp Module, then plug it into an outlet, and the light can now be turned on or off, or dimmed and brightened, from any INSTEON or X10 controller in the house. Please note: This Lamp Module should not be used with fluorescent or low voltage lamps. Use ApplianceLinc Appliance Modules for these items.

- Want to control outside lights? The B&D Outdoor Lamp Module responds to X10 and Freewire RF commands (#2000BE).
- Want to control lights with a universal remote control? Just add an Infrared X10 Command Console (#4040).
You can also control lights from your PC, even voice-activated X10 controllers. All communication is sent over existing wiring in the home — no new wiring required!
Do you already use X10 components for your home's automation? The Freewire system will blend in seamlessly. All Freewire plug-in modules (indoor and outdoor lamp receivers as well as the messenger hub's built-in lamp module) can be controlled by standard X10 controllers. The indoor lamp receiver will even accept dimming commands transmitted by a standard X10 controller.
The HomeLink Wireless Control System is a factory-installed feature packaged on many vehicle models, providing a convenient way to replace up to three handheld radio-frequency transmitters used to activate devices such as gate operators, garage door openers, entry door locks, security systems and home lighting. Freewire products are compatible with select 2001 and newer HomeLink-equipped vehicles. Programming instructions for HomeLink are included in the instruction guide for this Freewire product.
