Now you can control large groups of TV monitors (or any other A/V components) from control locations using Xantech's IR receivers (sold separately). Up to eight devices may be addressed with the 1x8 Addressable IR Router, a one-in/eight out switcher that directs an infrared control signal to any one or all eight output ports. In addition, the router's output ports can drive LED indicators placed at each controlled device location so that you can see which devices are being addressed at any given time. The IR Programmer Remote is required for setting up and controlling the 1x8 Addressable IR Router and is sold separately. The 1x8 Addressable IR Router is powered by a 12-Volt DC 1200mA Regulated Power Supply, sold separately.
The 1x8 Addressable IR Router has a single receiver input. This four-terminal plug-in connector permits the connection of any Xantech IR receiver, keypad, or controller (all sold separately). Eight emitter outputs and eight routing indicator outputs are located on eight 4-terminal plug-in connectors. Using the IR Programmer Remote, select the unit to control. You can even turn all eight connected components on and off as a group.
In addition to controlling the TV receivers and the IR router, this system permits control of source components as well, through the 1-Zone Connecting Block. If you need to drive more emitters, use the Amplified 10-Emitter Connecting Block.
