Very pleased with the pin clocks, although the clicking sound was louder than expected. I'm sure in time we'll get used to it and won't even hear it.

The idea is great, but as Laurie said - the thing is loud. I somehow expected this when I bought it, and made sure of the return policy beforehand. Not jarringly loud mind you, but I definately do a mental double-take every minute. 3 more complaints (or constructive criticisms...) - 1) The face is NOT made up of 3,000 individual pins - those that don't move are merely printed on, meaning that instead of looking like they emerge from a uniform surface, you can see the outline of the number-areas in contrast to the rest, which lessens the effect. 2) When the time changes, it does so progressively across the entire face. This means that instead of just getting the clicks from the changing number, you can also hear it cycling through the rest of the clock's face, though there is no visible change. This adds to the noise and doubtless lowers battery life significantly. 3) No radio or alarm functions. Period. Still cool (would look especially great next to a G5 case!), but the execution could EASILY be much improved.
