Unlike normal clocks, this one not only displays time and temperature directly on the unit itself, it also projects the time or temperature (your choice) on a wall or ceiling for easy visibility, even without your glasses or contacts. In addition, the projection clock synchronizes with the atomic clock in Ft. Collins, Colorado, making it one of the most accurate clocks on the planet. How does it know? The projection clock senses the low-frequency radio signals transmitted by the National Institute of Standards and Technology, which are accurate to 100 microseconds ... that's one second every million years!
Since the projection clock is pre-programmed by time zone, all you have to do is plug it in, insert backup batteries, choose your time zone and the clock does the rest! Additionally, the projection clock has a special wireless remote sensor that can determine the temperature outdoors in Fahrenheit or Celsius.
Other features include 12 or 24-hr time format, and a totally adjustable snooze time (1-59 minutes, making it so much easier to wake up in the morning. Comes with an AC adapter, and uses 2 AA batteries for back-up (batteries sold separately).
