Essential Info
The La Crosse Technology WS-6020U-IT provides both indoor and outdoor temperature readings plus indoor humidity readings. The outdoor temperature sensor is equipped with an LCD screen for temperature readings and will transmit the outside temperature back to the main unit. The outdoor sensor has a wireless range of 200 feet. This wireless temperature station has solar cells that store and power 2 "AA" rechargeable alkaline batteries (included) for continuous operation. Even with minimal light the WS-6020U-IT is able to sustain a full charge due to its high-efficiency solar panel. In the event that either device is running out of power each is equipped with a low battery indicator to alert the user. The temperature station is also compatible with regular alkaline batteries via the flip of a switch on the device if needed.
