This Atomic Digital Clock from La Crosse Technology is a feature packed device that is easily hung on a wall or used free-standing on a table. The clock is powered by 2
AA batteries, sold separately, and upon power-up it will instantly begin locating the radio signal of the atomic clock in Ft. Collins, Colorado. Once the signal is received this clock will display the atomic time which is the official time kept by the United States as well as the date. However, this feature can be overridden and set manually if desired or needed. The time function on this clock can be displayed in a 12/24 hour time depending upon preference and also has an alarm clock function available. Below the digital clock is where the perpetual calendar lists the day of the week and date which can be shown in English, German, Spanish or French.
Indoor and outdoor temperatures are also monitored and displayed on the face of this Atomic Digital Clock. Below the time display and next to the perpetual calendar is where the temperature readings are shown. These can be listed in either Fahrenheit or Celsius, depending upon preference. The indoor temperature range that can be monitored is from 14.2°F to 99.9°F or -9°C to 37.8°C. The outdoor temperature is monitored by an included wireless temperature sensor which is powered by 2
AAA batteries which are sold separately. The sensor has a transmission range of up to 260 feet and can transmit back to the clock in either Fahrenheit or Celsius. The temperature reading range for the outdoor sensor is -39.9°F to 139.8°F or -39.9°C to 59.9°C.
