Whether you live in an area prone to violent weather shifts or just like to know what it will be like over the next day or so, the Public Alert Weather Station is an easy-to-read, easy-to-use home weather station that not only displays the current time, temperature, and forecast over the next 24 hours, it also accesses a radio feed from the National Weather Radio and all National Oceanic & Atmospheric Association (NOAA) reports to warn you about weather and other environmental dangers. You can even take the radio along with you when traveling or if you have to leave in a hurry. The radio will run on the included rechargeable battery pack or three AA batteries (sold separately). The remote sensor requires two AA batteries (sold separately).

See the current indoor and outdoor temperature at a glance at this home weather station along with the current, minimum, and maximum temperatures and humidity percentage information collected by the remote sensor. The Public Alert Weather Station forecasts the weather in your area over the next 12 to 24 hours. Using a graphic display, you'll see if you can expect sun, clouds, rain, or snow.
The wireless weather station's remote sensor automatically synchronizes the current time and date on the clock when it is brought within range of the signal generated from the U.S. Atomic Clock in Fort Collins, Colorado. Whether you're at home or on the road, you just need to set your time zone, and you'll always know you're seeing the exact time. This remote temperature-humidity sensor can collect outdoor temperature and humidity readings and then relay them back to the weather station, which can also be used with up to four other remote temperature-humidity sensors (sold separately). Set the weather station base to auto-scan among the sensors, displaying each sensor's data for 3 seconds.
In addition to the standard time, forecasting, and indoor and outdoor temperature, the Public Alert Weather Station also receives all National Oceanic & Atmospheric Association (NOAA) reports, which provide all available emergency advisories on tornadoes, severe thunderstorms, floods, evacuations, civil danger warnings and more.
The lightweight, splash-proof radio is constructed of durable materials and has a reception range of up to 50 miles (64km). Both the base unit and the travel radio are equipped with two alarms, which can be used independently or concurrently. The base unit also serves as a docking/recharging station for the radio for audible weather forecasts and public alerts.
