Then when you leave, it repeats the pattern so it looks like your family is still there doing the same things at the same times. Use more than one, so lights go on and off in various parts of your home at different times. The Memory Switch randomly varies the on/off times by 15 minutes early or late to avoid the impression they're on a simple timer. Built-in rechargable battery maintains memory during power outages. Simple installation - just replace an existing light switch. Not for use with fluorescent lights or low voltage fixtures, nor in 3-way circuits.
