Don't let your lawn go unprotected! irriGuard™ allows you to monitor the weather from within your home, automatically shutting off your irrigation system when watering becomes unnecessary or hazardous. Using the same technology used by the National Weather Service and the United States Department of Agriculture to measure and quantify rainfall accurately, the irriGuard™ system monitors and displays the outside temperature and rainfall and uses this information to control your sprinklers. Composed of three separate units that communicate wirelessly, irriGuard™ is a complete packaged system that easily interfaces with virtually any existing sprinkler system to shut off the system when watering is unnecessary. From the portable wireless in-home display unit, you can set your sprinkler control parameters while also monitoring current and past weather data. It also permits you to set the shutoff or lockout point of your sprinklers for rainfall and temperature. You can even define how long your sprinkler system will be disabled after a rain or freeze event. The rain gauge collects outside environmental data such as the current rainfall and temperature and then transmits this data back to the controller. The control unit acts as the data server, managing the incoming information from both the display and the rain gauge while using this data to regulate the existing irrigation/sprinkler system. Use 9-volt lithium batteries (sold separately) to power the wireless in-home display and the outdoor rain & Temperature Sensor.

The irriGuard™ Wireless Sprinkler Control consists of three parts. The wireless in-home display measures 5.5" L x 1.1" W x 3.5" H, the rain and temperature gauge measures 4.5" x 6", and the sprinkler controller measures 3.5" L x 1.5" W x 6.75" H.
