Indigo 3.0 is home automation software designed specifically for the Macintosh (Mac) operating system. With support for INSTEON-compatible products, the software can control all the devices over the existing electrical wires in your home, including lights, sprinklers, security systems and more. You can program specific action events to occur based on a variety of variables, including time. For example, you can program any lights to turn on and off at specific times, or at sunset. You can also use an optional time randomizing feature for an at-home look while you are at work or on vacation. Indigo 3.0 gives you access to your home automation system from anywhere in the world using the built-in Web server. With this innovative Mac home automation software, you can even create delayed actions (i.e. turn off lights after 10 minutes of no motion being detected). Your Mac will become an intelligent home automation server, offering unprecedented control of your INSTEON or X10 devices via computer, remote control operation, and timed or conditional variables. Using Indigo 3.0 to manage the use of your lighting, appliances, HVAC, sprinklers and more, can help reduce costs for your utilities and conserve energy at the same time. A PowerLinc Controller USB, sold separately, is required for Indigo to communicate with any INSTEON enabled devices. NOTE: Smarthome does not accept returns on any opened software.

Indigo 3.0 UpdatesThe release of Indigo 3.0 is a major update to previous versions of the home control and automation server for Mac OS X. Most notably, support now includes control of additional INSTEON devices, such as theThermostat Adapter, OutletLinc, KeypadLinc Relay and the IRLinc. Additionally an INSTEON link and scene management editor has been built in so that remotely defining links and scenes can be done easily and reliably from Indigo 3.0 software.

Indigo 3.0 User InterfaceThe look and feel have been refined in the latest version of Indigo. In addition to aesthetic changes and iPhone display enhancements have been made as well. You have the ability to resize windows, scroll wheel support, embedded AppleScript compiling, error reporting, and syntax coloring.
Conditional Triggers In addition to incorporating motion detectors to turn on lights or other devices as you walk into the room, the software can also respond to events based on incoming e-mails (programmed by e-mail subject lines or sender address). This feature allows you to remotely control any appliance or light, even your hot tub, by sending Indigo an e-mail or by using a Bluetooth-enabled mobile phone and Salling Clicker.
Support ScenesIndigo also allows you to create different lighting scenes, like "Party," "Movie," "Sleeping," "Away," for perfect multi-room lighting levels at the touch of a button. A wide array of action groups can be used to define lighting scenes and other one-step macro sequences.
Supports Notification FeaturesIndigo can also notify you via user-defined spoken announcements or e-mail (SMTP) when actions occur. This feature is ideal if you want to be notified when there's a power failure or when motion is detected in certain rooms of your home.
Compatible With Most Smarthome INSTEON and X10 ProductsIndigo communicates with INSTEON devices through the INSTEON PowerLinc Controller USB*, and it communicates with X10-compatible devices via a variety of X10 interfaces, including ActiveHome/CM-11A. Indigo even offers easy adjusting of the SwitchLinc, ToggleLinc and KeypadLinc preferences, including default dim level, on/off ramp rate and switch transmitting state.

When idle, Indigo uses a very small percentage of your computer's CPU cycles. Control Page and Control Page editor features have also been incorporated to allow for the user to create graphical Web pages capable of controlling their INSTEON- and X10-compatible enabled devices.
