Essential Info
Integrate all of your home automation systems into a single, easy-to-control interface using the INSTEON-compatible mControl Software. mControl installs on your PC and has the flexibility to be controlled from your PC or via a TV. From the comfort of your desk or your couch, you can access and control your INSTEON lighting and appliance controls, HVAC system, security system, IP surveillance cameras, audio/video (A/V) components, and your irrigation system. Create macros that link different automation devices and create scenes and events that will automate your lifestyle. Each macro can have one or more triggers; each trigger can have one or more conditions that will make your life more convenient and energy efficient. For operation, this product requires the use of a PowerLinc Controller - INSTEON USB Interface, PowerLinc Modem - INSTEON Serial Interface or an Universal Devices ISY Controllers. Important Notes: Your PC will need to remain on in order to execute timed commands and triggered events.
The PowerLinc Modem, INSTEON USB Interface has been tested in a beta version, but have not validated on the released version.
INSTEON-compatible mControl Software V2 is not compatible with SmartLinc - INSTEON Central Controller at this time.

INSTEON and X10 Modules Supported
INSTEON-compatible mControl Software V2 supports both the INSTEON and X10 protocols, allowing both systems to be used as your systems evolve. mControl's unique architecture also provides the ability to place the home automation adapters on your PC of choice so that you keep any clutter around the living room PC to a minimum.
Please Note: For X10, an X10 PowerLinc Controller is required.
