Easy-to-Use Windows-Based Software ApplicationAt the heart of mServer's automation control is mControl software, which is pre-installed on mServer and runs as a Windows service. The mControl service manages and controls zones and devices, manages and executes automation macros, and provides a remote user interface via a built-in web server system. The PC must be on and mControl Service must be running for all macros to execute at their required times and triggers. mServer comes standard with a remote configuration tool, software development kit (SDK), interfaces to leading protocols like INSTEON and Z-Wave, and support for technologies provided by Elk security systems, Axis cameras and Global Cache network adapters.
Adjust Systems Locally or From a Remote LocationConnect the mServer Residential Edition to your home network, and you'll be able to access and adjust any connected system from any computer on your network. Multiple users can connect simultaneously, so you'll never need to wait for a family member to exit the system prior to connecting. You can even connect when you're not home: Your home is securely accessible anywhere via any interface, including browsers, media centers, ultra-mobile PCs and touchscreens.
Variety of System Connections AvailableWith multiple USB, serial, and IP-based connections available, you'll easily be able to integrate all of your home's systems into one convenient location. This allows you to simplify wiring and interconnections.
