Essential Info
Control your lighting, sprinkler system, HVAC, and security cameras directly from your computer or from the convenience of your couch. INSTEON-Compatible mControl Software has been designed for Windows™ XP Media Center Edition 2005; however, mControl can also be run on Windows 2000 or Windows XP Pro and viewed from Internet Explorer 6.0 or greater. mControl uses a powerline interface (such as the INSTEON PowerLinc Controller USB, sold separately) to deliver your commands through your powerlines. Smarthome does not accept returns on any opened software.Note: Your PC will need to remain on in order to execute timed commands and triggered events. This software does not download to the PowerLinc V2 Controller at this time.

INSTEON and X10 Modules SupportedmControl supports both the INSTEON (patent pending) and X10 protocols, allowing both systems to be used as your systems evolve. mControl's unique architecture also provides the ability to place the home automation adapters on your PC of choice so that you keep any clutter around the living room PC to a minimum.
Powerline Interface Kit AvailableThe INSTEON-Compatible mControl Software is also available to be purchased in a kit with a PowerLinc Controller.
Note: Your PC will need to remain on in order to execute timed commands and triggered events. This software does not download to the PowerLinc V2 Controller at this time.
