Come Home to a Stunning Waterfall Display
After a long day, there's nothing like sitting back and relaxing next to a waterfall. But what if this waterfall featured multicolored LED lights for stunning nighttime displays? Even better! Atlantic Water Gardens' Color Changing Colorfalls combine the tranquility of a water feature with eye-catching, color-changing displays. With the included remote control, you can alter brightness, program color changing speed, and, of course, sequence color patterns. During the day, create a modern and elegant centerpiece and, at night, show off the full spectrum of bold colors.
In this project, we will be showing you how to install the Atlantic Water Gardens Color Changing Colorfalls. The diagram below can give you an idea of how the modules in the system are connected together. For detailed installation instructions please refer to the owner's manual and installation guide on the product page.
Step 1: Installation of Colorfalls - Install the Colorfalls as shown in Figure A (below). The opening in the wall where the Colorfalls will be placed is important to the function of the Colorfalls. Refer to Figure A for the proper sizing of the opening for the Colorfalls.
Step 2: Plumbing - Each ColorFalls spillway is equipped with three convenient 1.5" threaded inlets to accommodate 1.5" Sch 40 MPT fittings (Figure B). Choose one or more of the three inlets for plumbing: you can either plumb directly into the back center of the unit, or into both sides. Close off the unused inlet(s) with the provided plugs. The plugs have O-rings seals and can be installed without thread sealant.
Step 3: Connecting the Light Bar - The Colorfalls light bar will not operate if plugs are aligned incorrectly. The
six pronged connectors have raised arrows that indicates proper alignment.
Follow the connecting chart above (Figure C) to connect all cables. Ensure that the unit is
not plugged in while connecting.
Step 4: Synchronizing the Remote to the Control Unit - Follow the instructions below to sync the remote control to the control unit. If the remote control stops working properly, please install fresh batteries. If
problems persist, the remote may need to be re-synced to the control module.
