For Macintosh computers with a serial interface (modem or printer port), add this Mini-Din 8 Male to DB-9 Male cable, and you'll have a fully operational interface for your X10 system. The six-foot cable works with the Activehome computer interface. The cable connects to a standard Mac serial port at one end; the other end is a DB-9 male, which is electrically and physically equivalent to a PC serial port connector, allowing connection with cable to the external computer interface.
