Vera's unparalleled interoperability lets you include your existing devices and add on new devices, including IP cameras. Receive an alert and view live video footage on your web enabled mobile device anytime a motion sensor is tripped in your home or business. Imagine knowing exactly when your children get home from school, when an elderly grandparent gets out of bed, or if motion has been detected while you are away on vacation. Vera 3 can automatically turn on lighting so you never have to approach your home in the dark or change a thermostats temperature in your home while on your way there from work. Bridge Multiple Vera Devices Over IP: Enhance the signal range of your Z-Wave network by using more than one Vera device. Two or more Vera controllers can be bridged over IP allowing them to operate as one controller.
Open API's: The Vera home control engine, created by MiOS, was developed with an open architecture so that you or your installer can create custom apps to offer to all Vera users.
No Broadband Connection Needed for Local Control: Vera can configure and set-up your network allowing control of all your devices without the need of an internet connection.
Important Note: To control INSTEON devices you need a Power Link MODEM (not a controller). For example the 2414U won't work because it's an INSTEON controller (not a modem) and uses a different protocol.
