If you have taken the precaution to add a battery backup to your Elk security system, consider mounting it to your structured wiring enclosure with this battery shelf. The Elk-SWS is designed to securely hold up to an 8 Ah battery in the Elk 28 inch universal structured wiring box, 14 inch universal structured wiring box or with the use of Elk SWR rails. Using this bare aluminum battery shelf will add to a clean and professional looking security install.

Would have been nice to include holes to use a zip tie to hold the battery in tray. Or some king of secure strap. I play on using velco.

Easy to just snap in. Really only needed with the 28' box.

Would benefit from straps or other device to prevent battery from sliding.
