Easy InstallationThis proximity reader is easy to install. If you're connecting to an M1 system using any of the M1KP keypads, the W-035A Cable Assembly is required; M1 Systems with M1KP2 or M1KP3 keypads require the W039A Cable Assembly. Mount the sensor, then follow the color code to splice the various wires. The prox sensor is powered by the M1 panel or other access control, so needs no separate power supply.
VersatileThe Elk UltraProx Wiegand Reader is compatible with nearly all access controls and can be configured to flash its green LED to confirm operation, to confirm operation with its internal buzzer, or to give no confirmation. When installed in conjunction with an Elk M1 keypad, all confirmation would be displayed on the keypad.
