If you have the M1 Gold Kit (sold separately) installed in your home or office to control your security and automation, this software package will make managing your system a breeze. The Elk-RP Software for M1 Panels is a database-driven application with an intuitive user interface that allows you to see at a glance all the information pertinent to a specific installation. This software can be downloaded for FREE from the Elk website.

This user interface is consistent with most Windows applications. Scalable from a one-man operation to a large corporation, the Elk-RP interface is a state-of-the-art environment for maintaining the setup of accounts, sorting them in a hierarchical tree arrangement for easy creation, viewing and selection. View your system's current status or take advantage of the remote arming, disarming or zone bypassing options.
By maintaining this interface, which connects your system directly through your computer's serial port, either through a modem or though a network, you'll be able to send and receive data to each account, and you can also download software updates directly to controls or keypads. You can edit an account off-line and then connect to the system to download the entire account, or connect first and then edit the account item by item. Best of all, writing rules for the Elk M1 systems is a snap with Elk-RP's Rules Programming Engine. You'll need to contact Elk directly to get a used ID and password.
