Additional Button Features & CompatibilityQuick-arm keys provide instant arming of security system, and you can easily bypass zones with a single button press. Activate the chime feature to receive local alerts for zone openings: The built-in Piezo sounder has adjustable pitch for aural comfort. The M1 LCD Keypad is compatible with external 26-bit Wiegand-compatible proximity readers (sold separately), allowing cards or fobs to be used for arming, disarming, or limited door strike control.
Flush-MountableThe M1 LCD Keypad surface mounts to a standard 1- or 2-gang electrical box. You can also flush-mount this keypad into a hollow wall for a clean look with the Flush-Mount Kit for M1 LCD Keypad (sold separately). A slim-line keypad is also available for use in spaces where you won't need the full functionality of the LCD keypad.
