Essential Info
When you're ready to expand your M1Gold security/automation control system (sold separately), it will be helpful to know that your system will accept up to 16 M1 LCD Keypads. Each of these low-profile, addressable keypads features a 32-character blue/white backlit display, which shows the system status and messages, and it also guides the user through system menus. Along with the ELK menu navigation keys, the M1 LCD Keypad features four programmable function keys, which can be set to alert central station to an emergency or provide instant activation of your garage door, curtains, or lighting when pressed. The M1 LCD Keypad gets its power from your M1 Gold's data bus. Wall Mount or Flush Mount boxes are available for mounting the keypad.

Additional Button Features & CompatibilityQuick-arm keys provide instant arming of security system, and you can easily bypass zones with a single button press. Activate the chime feature to receive local alerts for zone openings: The built-in Piezo sounder has adjustable pitch for aural comfort. The M1 LCD Keypad is compatible with external 26-bit Wiegand-compatible proximity readers (sold separately), allowing cards or fobs to be used for arming, disarming, or limited door strike control.
Flush-MountableThe M1 LCD Keypad surface mounts to a standard 1- or 2-gang electrical box. You can also flush-mount this keypad into a hollow wall for a clean look with the Flush-Mount Kit for M1 LCD Keypad (sold separately).
