The On-Screen Programmable Timer TouchLinc lets you control up to 72 X10 lights and appliances on any combination of house and unit codes. Once you set up the devices you want to control, you can put any combination of devices on a timed schedule or integrate them into one-touch macros, as well as controlling them directly. Program a "Wake Up" timer sequence that automatically turns on bedroom lights, heats up the towel-warmer in the bathroom, and starts the coffee maker at 6 a.m. Create a "Goodbye" macro that turns off your inside lights, arms the alarm, and puts the porch lights on with one touch of the screen. There’s no PC software to configure, no programming to download, and you don’t need an intelligent controller. All these capabilities are self-contained in this amazing touchscreen controller.
TIMER CAPABILITY- You can create up to 12 different timer events with the Timer TouchLinc, each containing up to 5 devices on different housecodes that you want to activate/deactivate at the time you specify. Tap through the timer setup screens to specify when your sprinklers, lights, pool pump, or other devices come on by time of day, day of the week, and even sunrise/sunset. TouchLinc’s internal clock will take care of the rest.
ONE-TOUCH MACROS- Timer TouchLinc lets you set up 12 one-touch macros that can each be programmed to send out up to 12 X10 commands. Tap through the macro setup screens to easily create macros that let you turn on multiple lights, start the ceiling fan, close the automatic drapes, and much more with a single touch of the screen.
DIRECT HOME CONTROL- The Timer TouchLinc also gives you direct control over your devices with its easy-to-use, high-tech interface. Just touch the ON "button" next to a device name on the screen to turn that light (or appliance) on, or press and hold the ON button to brighten the light. Touch the OFF button to turn the light (or appliance) off, and press and hold the OFF button to dim the light. You can even send preset dims to switches that accept them (like the SwitchLinc 2-Way Remote Control Dimmer) by touching the "%" button to bring up a menu of preset dims.
Timer TouchLinc’s Home Control menu provides space to set up 12 device groups (e.g., Living Room, Dining Room, Bedroom, Kitchen, etc.); each device group can have up to 6 devices in it (e.g., Table Lamp, Fan, Sprinklers). A device setup screen lets you specify the device’s name, X10 address, and type (lamp or appliance), quickly and easily, using an on-screen alphanumeric keypad.
SWITCHLINC PROGRAMMING- As an added benefit, the Timer TouchLinc comes with a Lighting Control Setup Application, a "maxi-controller"-type application that lets you program the powerful, feature-loaded SwitchLinc 2-Way X10 Remote Control Switches (Models #2380, 2381, & 2383, sold separately) quickly and easily. You can also use this application like a standard maxi-controller to send out all housecodes, unit codes, ON/OFF, dim, and preset dim to any X10 devices.
OTHER USEFUL FEATURES- The Timer TouchLinc is well-suited for use in dim light and even complete darkness with its blue-colored backlight that turns on with any screen touch or when the ON button is pressed. A green LED in the upper righthand corner glows continuously to help you locate the touchscreen in the dark. A subtle "beep" confirms each screen press (you can turn this feature off).
The Timer TouchLinc can be installed in a double-gang electrical box, surface-mounted on the wall (with an optional surface-mount foam kit, #1270SM). Its external dimensions are 4.5" x 5.5" x 0.75" (insets only 0.25" into wall). Timer TouchLinc comes with a 12VDC power supply, 1135 (X10 Interface Module) and connecting cable.
