Essential Info
Interact with your computer using any telephone. Install the HomeSeer PCI Modem in your computer, and you'll be able to call in or use any phone in your home to connect to your computer and give it voice commands to trigger home control events using touchtone keys. The HomeSeerPhone Software included with the modem uses a simple high-level scripting language to control the call flow. HomeSeer V2 Home Control System Software is required and sold separately.

The HomeSeerPhone Software acts as a standard answering machine, allowing callers to leave messages. It includes a single mailbox answering mode as well as a multiple mailbox mode. Caller ID is captured and may be announced by HomeSeer using text-to-speech or WAV files. When messages are left, they may be forwarded by email to any email account, or a page may be sent. HomeSeer is notified of various phone events such as the phone ringing, the line being answered, messages left, or caller ID available.
