If you have installed HomeSeer Automation Software (sold separately), you're already enjoying the ultimate flexibility and control in the programming and scheduling of your home automation system. The HomeSeer Global Caché Plug-In interface to the Global Caché Home Network Adapter and its current modules allows HomeSeer to control your home audio and video equipment via infrared remote control commands. The Home Network Adapter is sold separately. Smarthome does not accept returns on any opened software.

This interface to the Global Caché Home Network Adapter and its current modules allows HomeSeer to control your home audio and video equipment via infrared remote control commands. The Home Network Adapter is sold separately.
Devices are created for each relay connector, allowing you to operate the relay using your HomeSeer Automation Software as well as through device actions in events. Relay devices can also be used as a Device Value trigger to have other events run when a relay's status changes. All infrared capabilities are fully HomeSeer compatible, and the software can learn new IR signals as well by using the Global Caché IR Learner, or they can be copied/shared from/with other users.
Infrared zones can be defined that work with HomeSeer's built-in zone numbering and allow you to send infrared signals out a specific Home Network Adapter unit, module, and connector. Built-in web pages are provided to configure GC100 units, create infrared zones, and "learn" or add infrared signals.
There is no CD included in this package. To install the Global Caché Plug-In, use the package's plug-in license and follow the instructions included in this package.
HomeSeer Automation Software is designed to work with hundreds of home automation devices using industry standard protocols like X-10. Plug-ins enhance this versatility by extending HomeSeer's compatibility to other popular devices and programs. Additional plug-ins are available and sold separately, such as HAI Omni, Windows Media Player Series 9, Napco Gemini 9600, and WebCam.
