Using a powerful Ethernet interface, the JDS StarGate IP lets you control anything in your home from any Internet-accessible computer in the world. Forgot to arm your alarm system before leaving? Just log on, and your security system will go into armed mode. Need to go out of town unexpectedly? Set your automated lights to vacation mode from your work computer.
For easy local access to the JDS StarGate IP's powerful control capabilities, order a customizable LCD Keypad. This wall-mounted, menu-driven keypad can be programmed to control just about device in your home. Simply use the included Event Manager software to create and download up to 96 interactive menu screens to the keypad. Add an IR Xpander, and the JDS StarGate IP controller can operate audio/video devices. It's perfect for automatically turning on music when you enter a room, setting up all your home theater components with a press of a button, or initiating multi-setup macros with the same remote control you already use to operate your TV.
If you don't need the Web access feature and will only be controlling your automated home devices locally, you can buy the Stargate Lite instead.
