Essential Info

The ISY Power Supply is a simple plug-in device designed for use with an ISY controller. It is only necessary if you are upgrading an existing setup with a new PowerLinc Modem - INSTEON Serial Interface (Dual-Band).

The following ISY kits already contain a power supply along with a Dual-Band PowerLinc Modem and an ISY Controller:

This worked as advertised. I like the old model (which this one is replacing since that one stopped working...) better since it could supply power as well. These devices are so big, it is tough to also have to plug in another module to get an ISY going.

After ordering and before receiving my ISY994i the information I read said I would need a power supply that was not provided with the unit. I ordered this and only later found out that they are indeed included! Now I have a spare.

Works as it should. This is needed for the ISY if you will be using the new Dual Band PowerLinc Modem (2413S) since it will not supply power to the ISY. Only the non Dual Band will supply power to the ISY.
