Essential Info
The ISY-99i IR is an affordable and flexible standalone home automation solution for any INSTEON / X10 installation. Whether you are a DIYer, an electrician, or a home automation integrator you will enjoy the ease with which programming and discovering of INSTEON devices is accomplished. The ISY-99i IR supports up to 1024 devices and scenes and a maximum of 1000 programs. The ISY-99i IR PRO can receive standard IR commands sent from a universal remote to control all of your INSTEON and X10 devices and scenes. The ISY controller is able to configure and program INSTEON devices using INSTEON native protocols and specifications allow it to directly write to INSTEON devices internally instead of just in the controller, creating a more robust network. You can set up timer events and custom event triggers, as well as monitor and control all the INSTEON-compatible devices in your home from any web-browser anywhere in the world! Now you can check if the lights in your house were left on and remotely control them from your computer at the office.
The ISY-99i IR PRO requires an INSTEON PLM to operate (not included).

Using any Java-enabled web browser, the ISY-99i IR PRO gives you the ability to control, monitor and configure all INSTEON-compatible devices from any web-browser anywhere in the world. Best of all, no software is needed to gain access to your INSTEON network. Simply bring up a browser and type in the URL of your Home Automation Controller.

Simply Affordable
Basically a mini computer with home automation software stuffed into it, the ISY-99i is still priced affordably, so that EVERYONE can get the flexibility and control of this stand-alone controller. The ISY-99i is a home automation controller for the masses.
Easy Installation
Setup is a breeze requiring no additional drivers or software. With the included serial cable and Ethernet cable, connect the device to your powerline modem (PLM) and network hub, respectively. Once connected, the ISY-99i IR will automatically appear as a network device under your "My Network Places" on your computer. It's that simple.
Receive IR Inputs
The ISY-99i IR PRO can receive standard IR commands sent from a universal remote to control all of your INSTEON and X10 devices and scenes. With the included software, you can place the ISY-99i IR PRO into learn mode where you can define which IR commands result in a specified action. Schedules, conditions and actions can be defined for each IR input detected. You can, for example, set a 'movie' scene to take place dimming down the lights and controlling the blinds as soon as a TV 'power on' IR command is received.
Pulling the Trigger
Supporting up to 20 triggers and 6 conditions/responses per trigger, the ISY-99i IR PRO adds convenience to your life. Without the need for a computer remaining on constantly, you can have the stairway and hall lights in your home turn on every evening before sunset. The porch lights can be automated as welling providing plenty of light when you arrive home after dark, not to mention the added security outside lights provide.
Intuitive Interface
The system comes embedded with an intuitive GUI (graphical user interface) browser with no need for any software installation. The user-friendly graphical interface lets you quickly set up links and scenes using a simple drag-and-drop method. You can also easily set brightness levels, ramp rates, group devices and set triggers.
Flexible Control
Compatible with both Pocket PC and Microsoft Media Center, the device offers the flexibility to control your home from any Pocket PC device or Media Center PC.
Checking In While Away
The ISY-99i IR features the ability to set up alarms and notifications to send you messages via SMS, pagers or emails. While on vacation, you can have the device send an email and/or a text message whenever the doorstrike on your garage door is tripped. Keep an eye on your home effortlessly and from anywhere.
