The Intermatic FF312HH 12-Hour Spring Loaded Auto-Off Wall Timer with Hold is designed to replace any standard or 3-way wall switch and provide an easy way to atomically turn a light or appliance after 12 hours (maximum). This energy-efficient mechanical timer does not require any electricity to operate, just a simple turn of the dial. It automatically limits the ON times for fans, lighting, motors, heaters, and other energy consuming loads. It also has a built-in hold feature that enables you to override the automatic shut-off function. The molded white knob and wall plate are press-on type, requiring no screw or other hardware to secure. It also has a commercial 'brushed metal' (plastic construction) look that meets NEC requirements.

This is a double-throw switch, which has a contact that can be connected to either of two other contacts - typically used in a 3-way switch application.

Please Note - This switch is not for use with sunlamps, saunas, or loads that could cause personal injury if timed incorrectly.
