Essential Info
Expand the capabilities of your X10 system with this easy-to-use input/output control board! The LynX-Port Multi-Purpose I/O Board connects directly to your computer via an RS232 port to give you the power to remotely control up to eight devices through eight fully programmable DPDT relays. Each relay has its own 16-bit timer so you can individually program them to close from .05 seconds all the way up to 9 hours. Relays rated: 1 Amp at 120 vac, 2 Amps at 30 vac. requires a 9-16V AC or DC power supply (sold separately). You'll need the TW523 X10 two-way module (sold separately) for X10 capabilities. RS232 cable also sold separately.

You can program a device to switch on a specific time, stay on for up to nine hours, then automatically switch off. You can also set a relay to trip the next relay in sequence after the time out, making the LynX-Port the ideal solution for effortless, automated sprinkler rotation control.
The LynX-Port also features four analog inputs and eight digital inputs. With the analog inputs, you can plug in optional external sensors (temperature, light, moisture, etc.) for even greater automated control. For example, with an optional light sensor you can have your outdoor lights automatically turn on at dusk and off at sunrise. With the optional moisture sensor, you can have your sprinkler system automatically turn on when the ground is dry and turn off when a pre-programmed moisture level is reached. And you can use the optional temperature sensor to control fans, furnace, air conditioners, space heaters, pool heaters and more.
The digital inputs let you use PIR motion sensors, magnetic contacts, user inputs, and any of the N/O or N/C sensors in this catalog to further expand your system's capabilities. For example, you can connect motion sensors and have outdoor lights instantly switch on and automatically play a greeting (or warning ) message when visitors (or invaders) approach your front door.
You can even program the LynX-Port to send X10 signals (or RS232) in response to the sensors or hold the status internally until polled using status request commands.
The LynX-Port comes complete with LynX-Soft Windows control software and easy-to-follow instructions for writing your own applications. It requires a 9-16V AC or DC power supply. You'll need the #1135 TW523 X10 two-way module (sold separately) for X10 capabilities. RS232 cable sold separately.
