This intermediate kit includes everything in the Basic Lighting Control Starter Kit, except with an upgraded Maxi Controller instead of the Mini Controller, AND a SwitchLinc PLC Dimmer that lets you control built-in light fixtures like chandeliers, kitchen lights or porch lights — including dimming and brightening — directly from the switch, or remotely with the Maxi Controller!
Available in white or ivory, the dimmer installs just like any other wall switch dimmers, taking only 15 minutes or less. Just shut off power at the breaker box, remove the old switch, add the SwitchLinc PLC Dimmer by connecting three wires, put the trim plate back on, restore power and you're done. Now you'll never have to go outside to turn off the light in the garage or basement! The Starter Kit Plus includes:
1 Smarthome LampLinc module (#2000SHL)
1 Maxi Controller (#4020)
1 SwitchLinc PLC Dimmer, White (#2384W)
Note: The switch included in the Starter Kit Plus and Deluxe Starter Kit requires a neutral wire at the switch location. Please determine that your home has these connections before ordering.
