Make sure to add a 10K pull-up resistor to the zero crossing signal - spent hours of debugging before figuring this out. If using an Arduino, do this in setup() to turn on internal pull-up resistors: pinMode(zcPin, INPUT); digitalWrite(zcPin, HIGH);

This item underperformed. I saw not improvement in my RF wireless range. Additionally, random On-Off events began occurring on my X-10 system after I installed it. I sent the item back for a refund. Refund processing by Smarthome is very slow. They warn it may take months to see the credit.

Works better than the one I replaced ever did.

I have got this unit to work with X10 system yet. The system does not see it as a TW523.

Excellent product, has a great reception range. No more missed X10 signals.

The manual remains very informative; more so than regular customer set-up briefs. I plan to enroll to X10Pro "On-Line" certifications programs for solid foundation of the technology.

I also had a bad experience with this product. Range was improved from 5 feet to 10. Very disappointing.
