More Info

Web-Link II works inside a home on a single PC or with a group of PCs on a local network. It also takes advantage of the full-time Internet connection provided by cable modems and DSL service popular today. These connections, combined with Web-Link II's intuitive, easy-to-use pages make it quick and effortless to check on the house with video surveillance, record video based an a system event, view previously recorded videos, verify the kids have arrived home from school via email notification, and adjust settings for lighting, heating and air, security, and appliances.
Web-Link II runs in the background on a Windows 2000, XP Pro, or Server 2003 computer connected to any Omni-class controller. (For use with Z-Wave-enabled devices, a Z-Wave Adapter is required.) HAI Web-Link II software generates Web pages from the controller's data that can be viewed locally and on any networked computer via Internet or Local Area Network. After installing Web-Link II, no set up is required: Web-Link II's smart software obtains its configuration from the Omni controller and presents a series of pages following a standard menu format. These include:
A home page that displays an overall summary of the system, displaying security status, temperatures, messages and more A control page that displays status of lights, appliances, sprinklers, relays and flags, and allows for their control A security page that displays security mode for each area, status of each zone and trouble conditions A temperature page that displays the current status of all thermostats and temperature sensors in the system, and allows for their control A button page that runs macros and scenes An events page that shows time-stamped activities and events A message page that allows the control of system messages A rules page that displays the list of rules - conditional statements that tell Web-Link II what to do (i.e. send e-mail when the specified event in the rule occurs) An options page that can be used to change configurable items (i.e. changing skins and channel list) and view useful information about Web-Link II A cameras button that starts the Video-Link Player to see video and hear audio from connected devices A videos page that displays a list of date- and time-stamped recorded videos that you can play or delete
Web-Link II even has advanced the initial Web-Link technology by adding features that allow a homeowner to view family and property with video surveillance, record video on demand or based on event, and enjoy wireless access over a PDA or web-enabled phone. In addition, a homeowner can receive emails based on programmed events or send and receive instant messages.
Please note: The HAI Omni series of products is professional grade and should only be installed by a licensed professional. All tech support inquiries and product return requests must be made by a licensed professional directly to the manufacturer at 1-800-229-7256.
