Expand the power and scope of OmniLT, Omni II or OmniPro II automation controllers with two-way voice communications between the home or business and any phone during an alarm event. It's perfect for applications where the security system is monitored by a third-party central station. It's also an ideal way for homeowners to access listen/talk features from any touchtone phone, both local and remote. It can even be used as an internal paging/intercom system!

After an audible alarm, this feature allows the central station to control the listen/talk mode. For silent alarms, the system allows listen in only. The system can also be used to announce alarm situations inside the premises.

To integrate this feature, you'll need the Two-Way Voice Module (#110711) and one of two choices of Speaker/Microphone Modules: Surface-Mounted (#110712 manufacturer part#28A00-1) or Flush-Mounted (#110713 manufacturer part#28A00-2). For quick installation without cutting into drywall, choose the Surface-Mounted version (great for retrofit applications). If you want the Speaker/Microphone Module to have a true professional, built-in look, choose the Flush-Mounted version (great for new construction). Each Speaker/Microphone Module may be used outdoors in weather-protected areas such as overhangs, eaves, etc.
