Take the guesswork out of building a premiere whole home audio system and automated lighting network using this pre-configured kit from HAI. The HAI Townhome and Condo Promo Kit has everything needed to get you started on distributing audio throughout your home and automating plug-in lamps. Additionally, this system of devices can be expanded, giving you the option of incorporating products such as a thermostat, security/alarm system and other home automation devices, and operate all of them from the same controller. The Hi-Fi audio system will distribute four audio inputs (sources) to 4 rooms (zones) throughout your home. Using the Lumina controller, you can set each zone's source and volume for parties, watching TV, and the morning news, for example, to coordinate the audio system with your activities. A standard keypad console and 5.7" touch screen console are included to program and operate your system. As an added bonus, a Snap Link has also been included that connects to your computer system so you can monitor and control these home systems remotely across a network or over the Internet.

Lumina Controller
Control all of your lighting from any room in your house or business. Designed as a lighting and automation controller for large residences and small commercial installations, the HAI Lumina Pro Controller comes with everything you need to get started with sophisticated lighting control for up to eight rooms (56 lights). No need for new wiring - the Lumina Pro uses UPB, an advanced digital communication standard that transmits your commands over standard electrical wires. All you need to add are the switches you wish to control. Lights come on as programmed or with the push of a button. All of Lumina Pro's features can be programmed on-site, without a computer, using the included LCD keypad.
Other Lumina Controller Features
Control Lighting in One Room With a Keypad in Another: Since the Lumina enclosure comes with a powerline interface module, you'll be able to control all connected lights from the included keypad. Install additional keypads around your house for easy lighting control from any room. One Lumina Keypad controller is included with the HAI Lumina Controller; you can add up to eight HAI Lumina Keypads, sold separately, in any home. Also available is the HAI Lumina Keypad w/Speaker & Microphone, which allows two-way voice communication (requires the 2-way voice module).
Expandable System Allows for Flexibility: Install the included HAI Lumina Mode Switch near your home's main entry, and you'll be able to control light settings for every light in your house with the press of any of six mode buttons. Install one of the Omnistat Communicating Thermostats and, you can control your home's temperatures through your Lumina Pro system. Replacement transformers and backup batteries are also available.
Event-Based Lighting Control: It's certainly convenient to turn off the downstairs lights from your bedroom, but lighting control encompasses so much more than just on and off. The HAI Lumina Pro Controller allows 16 inputs for indoor or outdoor temperature, humidity sensors, motion detectors, and door/window sensors. It even has 8 voltage outputs for triggering hardwire relay. How can you take advantage of these features? Connected devices and lights can be scheduled by time, sunrise/sunset and day of the week, so you can set the system to turn on your coffee maker thirty minutes before it gradually turns on your lights to wake you up on weekday mornings. If your system is connected to your thermostat, you can prevent it from turning on if a door or window is open in order to save energy. You can even connect to your existing security system to trigger lights to turn on for safe exiting in the event of an alarm or to shut off the air and heat to stop the spread of smoke.
The Lumina Controller comes with a Lumina enclosure, power supply, transformer cable, LCD keypad, keypad cable, UPB phase coupler, setup software, serial cable, battery, two keys, end-of-line resistors, UPB Powerline Interface Module and a Quick-start guide.
Lumina Mode Switch
Easily change your lighting mode before leaving your home, going to bed, arriving home, going on vacation, entertaining for the evening or any other special event. The HAI Lumina Mode Switch has six pushbuttons labeled AWAY, HOME, SLEEP, VAC (Vacation), SPCL (Special), and PARTY. Each button is backlit slightly so that the buttons can be seen in a dark room. The selected mode will be illuminated distinctly so that you can always tell at a glance which scene is enabled. These scenes will set all connected lights to different degrees of brightness when pressed according to the factory default or how you program them using an HAI Lumina Keypad.

Hi-Fi by HAI is plug and play with the Omni Pro II Controller. The controller can set each zone's source and volume for parties, watching TV, and the morning news, for example, to coordinate the audio system with your activities. HAI's many user interfaces Hi-Fi Kit, including the OmniTouch 5.7" LCD Touchs Screen, Omni Console. In addition to control via your HAI automation network, the HAI Hi-Fi system can also be controlled via infrared; IR commands are sent to the Volume Source Controls (VSC) by HiFi's IR remote controls.
The wall mounted Volume and Source Control (VSC) features an easy-to-use turn knob for music selection and volume control and also acts as an infrared repeater for source component control. Simply press the knob to change music sources. Turn it to adjust volume. Press and hold to adjust bass, treble, balance, and turn the entire system on and off. The blue display shows the source and volume level. For source control, the VSC has routed infrared repeating built in. Simply use your existing remote control to change selections, pause, play, etc.
Remote Input Modules (RIMs) can be located throughout the house to pick up music from your home theater, kitchen TV, computer, personal music player, satellite radio, Media Center, CD player - any source with an audio output. RIMs feature a stereo audio input jack and a routed IR emitter jack (flasher included) to control source equipment. Color change kits for the VSC and RIM are available in 3 colors to match interior décor.
While the Hi-Fi Kit comes standard with 4 zones and 4 sources, you can expand it to include 4 more zones and 2 more sources with the Hi-Fi Expansion Kit, which includes 4 zone amplifier cards, 4 volume and source controls, 2 remote input modules, and a power supply.
Based on a high efficiency digital design, Hi-Fi by HAI requires no audio rack to run unsightly wires to. The main unit is mounted on a closet wall or in a structured wiring enclosure, so the wiring is hidden. Power is 40 watts RMS per zone at 4 ohms. The audio signal from the source is buffered at the RIM, and then travels over Cat 5 to the main unit. The VSC is also connected to the main unit using Cat 5. The power amplifiers are in the main unit, (not in the VSC) so amplifier power is not hindered by Cat 5 wire. Speakers are connected to the main unit using standard speaker wire. There are two variable outputs (Zones 1 and 8) for connection to external power amplifiers, and a page/mute input. Signals from remote controls are picked up by a sensor in the VSC and routed to the RIM that the VSC has selected as its source. Signals for source equipment are sent out the "IR Out" port on the RIM to control the source.
Installation requires Cat. 5 cable and speaker wire, not included.

Serial Connectivity Cable
Control your Universal Powerline Bus (UPB) automation devices using your PC, or use HAI's control power to operate your Nuvo audio system. The HAI Serial Connectivity Cable links the HAI UPB Powerline Interface Module (sold separately) to your PC's serial port, so you'll be able to set up, test, and control your UPB devices using your computer. UPB devices are sold separately. PC control of UPB devices requires the downloadable UPStart configuration software. You can also use the Serial Connectivity Cable for controlling UPB devices through the Lumina Controller
Snap Link Features
Easy One-Time Setup: Snap-Link is easy to use and easy to set up because it is self-contained on the USB drive. Enter your HAI system's IP address and data, and you'll be able to control it from any computer at any time. Just plug the USB drive into any Internet-connected computer to access Snap-Link. There is no installation necessary, and when you are finished, just unplug the drive. No residue of the application is left on the remote computer. Snap-Link uses 128-bit encryption, and it requires no subscription or fees.
Control Any Connected Device Remotely: The Snap-Link home page displays an overall summary of your system. This page allows you to set the system time, change security mode, control any temperature devices connected to your system, and view any currently displayed messages. Access your surveillance cameras to view the events around your home. Snap-Link also displays a list of the most recent System Events. Simply select an item to view its available commands.
Set Up E-Mail Alerts: You can set up Snap-Link to send alerts via e-mail, cell phone, or pager, based upon specified events in your home. Snap-Link can pop up a message dialog and/or send an e-mail when an alert is triggered. Since most cell phones and alphanumeric pagers have an e-mail address associated with them, this means that you can receive notifications on your phone or pager.

UPB Lamp Module
The HAI UPB Lamp Module is a plug-in dimmer that incorporates the UPB two-way power line communication technology, which gives it the ability to be remotely controlled by UPB compatible controllers. The Lamp Module has one UPB controllable outlet that can sense the lamp's local on/off switch to turn the lamp on even after it was turned off using UPB control. The HAI UPB Lamp Module is also capable of transmitting UPB™ messages (including current light level) when the local lamp switch is used to turn the lamp on. Each lamp module can be configured to custom fit an individual's lifestyle and desires. The HAI Lamp Module is capable of storing up to 16 preset light levels and fade rates to create powerful lighting scenes. The HAI Lamp Module is capable of being set to a non-dimming mode in order to control such loads as fluorescent lights.
