Essential Info
If you have an OmniLT or OmniPro II set up in your home for automation and security control, you can view surveillance video through an Omni Touchscreen panel, thanks to the Touchscreen Hub w/Video. The included video encoder mounts on the Touchscreen Hub and digitizes video signals from up to six connected surveillance cameras to send to the OmniTouch with Video. The Touchscreen Hub supports up to eight OmniTouch touchscreens, with or without video (hubs, panels, and surveillance cameras sold separately). Due to excessive weight, Smarthome will add a heavy-item shipping charge to this item. This charge will be reflected in the shipping amount on the check-out page.

The video encoder digitizes video signals from cameras connected to the Touchscreen Hub and sends the signals to OmniTouch with Video touchscreens for viewing. The Touchscreen Hub provides battery-backed power for multiple touchscreens, cameras and the included video encoder. The hub has convenient connections and power terminals for a neat installation with inputs for six individual color or black & white cameras, which can be selected by the touchscreens for viewing. Six individual outputs allow the cameras to also be viewed on monitors, TV sets, and video recorders, as well.
The Touchscreen Hub was designed to eliminate the unsightly "wall wart" transformers, power strips, "Y" connectors, external power supplies, battery back-up units and complex wiring normally associated with camera and touchscreen installations. In addition to simplifying the installation, the power supply has low-voltage cutout and automatically sequences the startup of touchscreens for long-term reliability and zero maintenance. The batteries are recharged automatically.
This video encoder & hub comes in an HAI enclosure. The encoder and hub are also available for structured wiring enclosures on a universal mounting plate. A power supply is included with the video encoder; a Touchscreen Hub Replacement Power Supply is also available to be purchased separately.
