    Controlling your home has never been so easy

    Insteon Hub is an Insteon central controller; a simple and straightforward device that connects you to your home from any smartphone, tablet or Apple Watch, anywhere in the world. Control Insteon light bulbs, keypads, wall switches, outlets, and thermostats at home or remotely and receive instant email or push notification alerts from motion, door and window, water leak, and smoke sensors while you’re away. Just start with the Hub, select the Insteon devices for your home and enjoy.

    Control your thermostat from anywhere

    When you install an Insteon Thermostat in your home and link it to the Insteon Hub, every smartphone and tablet you own becomes a remote control. It doesn't matter if you're hiding under the covers on a cold winter morning or running late out of the office on a sweltering summer evening, you can adjust the temperature from anywhere and ensure that your home is comfortable all the time.

    Installation Service

    A team of tested and professional Technicians ensure proper installation services. Please contact Velexo’s Call Center line at 888-338-6719 with any questions regarding your order. Representatives are available Monday-Friday, 9am-8pm Eastern Time to assist you.

    What you need to do prior to the Technicians arrival:
        •  Have a person 18 years of age or older present
        •  Verify that your product shipment is complete and has arrived in good condition
        •  Verify that the internet is working
        •  Clear a work area for the Technician, ensuring no obstacles are in the way
        •  Pets and other animals should be removed from the job site

    What the Technicians will do as part of this Statement of Work:
        •  Protect the work space
        •  Turn off electricity to circuits as needed
        •  Unpacking, installing and energizing the Insteon Hub
        •  Remove the existing thermostat and install the new thermostat
        •  Program the new thermostat and verify the operation
        •  Help download any necessary apps for 2 Consumer-provided devices and confirm remote operation for these devices
        •  Remove trash to a location you approve on the premise, and perform thorough clean up

    Out of Scope Work:
    The following additional On-Site Services are sometimes required, but not commonly enough to include them and charge you as part of the Statement of Work. If any of these additional services are determined to be needed, you will be given the opportunity to accept or decline prior to the additional services being sold and provided by the Technician. The Technician will call in your request for additional On-Site Services and payment for these additional services will be made by you over the phone.
        •  Rewiring or changes to existing circuits
        •  Reprogramming other devices or stations
        •  Resolving issues related to misuse of devices
        •  Painting, staining, drywall, or plastering
        •  Acquiring permits

    Closing/Concluding your On-Site Services:
    When the Technician has completed the On-Site Services, you will be asked to sign an On-Site Services Completion Form and to take a brief survey.

    What is the phone number and contact information for installation?

    How does my appointment get scheduled?
    Technicians will aim to complete the job on or around the date when your product is arriving. Call 888-338-6719 when your product has arrived. Ultimately, you and the Technician will work together to determine the date of service.

    How do I change my service appointment?

    Who installs my product and how are they qualified?
    Technician means independent third parties that are contractors, service providers, home improvement industry professionals, prime contractors and subcontractors who perform On-Site Services and sell On-Site Services directly to the Consumer or Buyer. On-Site Services are managed through the Velexo Solution. Additionally, Technicians must provide proof they are insured and must submit to a background check.

    What do I need to do to prepare for Technicians On-Site Services?
    The Technicians will be sure to protect your space on arrival. Please remove all breakable objects within 5 feet of the installation area and make sure there is a clear path for the Technicians.

    What is the On-Site Services quality guarantee?
    In the event that you, the Consumer, are not 100% satisfied with the On-Site Services performed by the Technician following the Technician's efforts to resolve any issues, contact Velexo 888-338-6719.
